Financial Planner — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Financial Planner is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what data the app handles and, just as importantly, what it doesn't.

Data we collect

None. Financial Planner does not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your personal or financial information. The app has no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and does not connect to the internet to send your data anywhere.

Where your data is stored

All the information you enter — income, expenses, investments, goals, and scenarios — is stored locally on your device only. It never leaves your phone unless you choose to export or back it up yourself.

Export, backup, and sharing

The Export and Backup & Restore features let you save your data as a file and share it using your device's own share sheet (for example, to save it to cloud storage, send it by email, or move it to a new phone). These actions are entirely user-initiated — the app itself does not upload or send this data to us or any third party.

Permissions

The app may ask for access to files or storage only when you choose to export, back up, or restore your data. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, or microphone.

Children's privacy

Financial Planner is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, since it collects no information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature adds optional cloud sync — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
